Oh dear

Apparently, the importers of Winston, the american brand of cigarettes, thought it would be a great campaign idea to market their product as the cigarette of choice of bald, mascara-wearing, daisy-duke jean-short cutoffs body builders.

So, is that the image of Americans now?!

better than that *other* stereotype of obese rude loud obnoxious people, I guess.

who wears short shorts? tee hee ~

I see this all the time on the cigarette vending machines. It has to be the weirdest, most counter-intuitive advertising campaign I have ever seen, even for Japan. And I'm counting those extremely ugly Tommy Lee Jones promotionals for Boss. Yuck!

Hee hee, I love those Tommy Lee Jones commercials, they're so strange.
There are a bunch of celebrities that secretly do commercials here they would never dream of doing back home for fear of tarnishing their reputations ;)
